Over much of 2020, I developed a neural-network-based algorithm (nicknamed KS_Chorus) to generate the notes for pieces of polyphonic music. I generated several hundred pieces in a row with KS_Chorus and made a website where you can try to tell these pieces apart from real, human-composed pieces of music.
These pieces were all added to the test without curation; the goal is to assess the algorithm’s output without any cherry picking. You can play as many times as you want, and all the pieces you’ll hear will be chosen randomly at each round. How long will it take you to score 5 correct answers?
